Rise Up, Sing Out! — A Concert for the First Amendment streamed live from NYC on Sunday, June 14th. A joyful celebration of the freedoms the First Amendment protects, in lieu of a day of No Kings rallies.
A Concert for the First Amendment
On Sunday, June 14th, the Committee for the First Amendment hosted Rise Up, Sing Out! — a 90-minute concert streamed live from The Town Hall in New York City. It stood in for a day of No Kings rallies and celebrated the freedoms the First Amendment protects: speech, press, assembly, petition, and religion — and the people power that keeps them.
The lineup included Jane Fonda, Patti Smith, Bette Midler, Rufus Wainwright, Sasha Allen, Joy Reid, Wilson Cruz, Broadway Inspirational Voices, and more.

- Indivisible Cortland County and the Cortland County Democratic Committee hosted the closest in-person watch party at The Center for the Arts of Homer, 6:30–9:30 PM.
