Tuesday, October 13 · 6:00 – 8:00 PM
Join us for this last meeting before the midterms. This midterm election is perhaps the most important in US history — no sitting this one out. Our mission is to make sure people are informed about the importance of voting early. We need you.
- 5:00 PM — Make signs for the No Kings Rally. Materials and great guidance will be supplied.
- 5:30 PM — Social time, plus pick up Vote Early yard signs for you and your friends, early voting flyers to hand out, and No Kings flyers.
- 6:00 – 8:00 PM — The meeting.
- Where: Tabernacle Church, 83 Main Street, Binghamton
Come early and make a sign
We’ll be making signs for the No Kings Rally starting at 5:00, before the meeting. Materials and great guidance will be supplied — no artistic ability required. See the sign-making session for details.
What we’ll cover
The meeting focuses on what we can do to get people out to vote between October 24th and November 1st:
- How can you help?
- How will the Big Bad Bill impact us?
- What should you know about the Broome County budget? The Legislature’s public hearing on the budget is Thursday, October 22 at 5:00 PM at the County Office Building on Hawley Street, in the government plaza.
- Matt Ryan — our hope to unseat BC Sheriff Akshar. Pick up some of Matt’s lawn signs while you’re there, and let’s help him win this race.
- Talia Moore with an update on how we can help with her “A Home For The Knight” housing project.
TOGETHER WE CAN WIN. WE NEED EVERYONE TO PITCH IN AND HELP OUT.
Whether you’re a regular or brand new, this is the meeting to come to if you want to plug into the final push before November 3rd. Hope to see you there.
